ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Husband Jim, sons and daughter and brother of Freda Harkin wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We offer heartfelt thanks to all those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers, made donations, brought food, and helped with tea throughout the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us at this sad time.
We extend a special word of thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who cared for our mum through her illness, especially Dr Campbell and Glendermott Medical, Dr Todd and hospital from home team, Sabrina and district nurses at Eglinton Medical, Dr O Neill and his staff at Altnagelvin Cancer Unit. Pamela, Melissa and Michelle from Foyle Hospice and finally the North West Care and Strabane District Carers . We will never be able to thank you enough for the care and respect that you all showed to our mother through her illness.
A special word of thanks also to Fr Noel McDermott who attended mum at home during the final weeks before her death and for officiating such a beautiful service.
We would also like to thank Erin Carlin and Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful music, and Cassidy’s Café for providing a lovely tea and service after the burial.
Finally, sincere thanks to Kieran, Noeleen, and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
Mums Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church on Saturday 4th July at 6.30 St Mary’s Church Tamnaherin.
