The family of the late Fredrick (Ted) Hegarty would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.
There are not enough words to fully express our heartfelt thanks to those who paid their respects, sent mass cards, sent sympathy messages, sent lovely touching letters about memories with our daddy, sent lovely flowers and food.
Sadly due to Covid restrictions we would also like to thank those who could not sympathise with us in person. Thank you to all who paid their respects outside our home, chapel and graveside. Your presence did not go unnoticed. Thank you to all who watched the service online and kept us in your prayers.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Father McCaughey for his support and kind words. We would like to thank Lauren and Bethany Doherty for the most beautiful and touching music during the funeral mass.
We would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors in Ward 40, Altnagelvin Hospital for the compassion, care and support they provided our Daddy and the kindness they showed to us as a family in the most difficult time, we will be forever grateful.
We would like to thank Bridgeen Canning and Alison Cairns from the Renal Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital for their continuous support and kindness throughout the years.
We would like the thank W J O’Brien Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the caring and professional manner they conducted the funeral and burial.
Month mind mass will be in St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn, Derry on Tuesday 15th June 2021 at 7pm
Our Daddy was a very much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and is very sadly missed every hour every day.
