Gareth McSHANE
The family of the late Gareth McShane, Bayswater, Derry, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent cards and flowers, attended the wake and Requiem Mass and to everyone, particularly our relatives and friends, who helped in any way. This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.
We extend a special thanks to Fr Michael Canny for the beautiful eulogy and for his support and guidance. Thank you to Fidelma McNamee for providing the beautiful music which added so much to the Mass.
To the staff in The Waterfoot Hotel who provided the wonderful refreshments after the funeral.
Thank you to all the staff of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, who carried out the funeral arrangements which such care and efficiency. Thank you to the gravediggers in the Ballyoan Cemetery for preparing the grave.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation.
Gareth’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, on Sunday 26th July 2026 at 6pm. Everyone welcome.
