Maxwell, Garth, 18th October 2017, died peacefully in hospital, surrounded by family. A man of many hats: loving husband of the late Olive; beloved father to Janice, Roslyn, Lois and Laura; feared father-in-law to Tony, Johnny, Gary and Peter; adored grandfather to David, Sam, Stuart, Peter and Georgia; caring brother-in-law and uncle to Renee and her boys, David and Bryan; and a wonderful friend to so many.

He will be missed more than we could ever have imagined.

Funeral Service at Stormont Presbyterian Church on Monday 23rd October at 2.00pm.

House private.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Garth's memory will be made to Air Ambulance NI c/o Kirkwoods Funeral Director, 150a Kings Road, Knock, Belfast BT5 7EJ.

The Committee and Members of the North Down Advanced Motorists Group offer their thoughts, sympathy and condolences to his family and friends on the passing of Garth Maxwell.

Garth was an active and enthusiastic group member, he rarely missed a group monthly bike run, and less than two weeks ago enjoyed the success of completing his IAM Advanced Rider Course and passing the Advanced Rider Test.

The committee and members of the Police Motorcycle Club wish to pass on their condolences and thoughts to Garth's daughters Janice, Roslyn, Lois and Laura and extended family at this sad time.
Garth was an active and enthusiastic committee and club member who attended as many meetings and runs as he could.
He was an accomplished motorcycle rider and had recently passed his IAM test.
