Garvan (Hen) HENDERSON
The family of the late Garvan "Hen" Henderson would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them on the sudden loss of a much loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
We would like to thank Garvan's best friends Tony, Dee, Declan, Kieran, Tommy, Tommy Jnr, Shuey & Leigh who were with Garvan in Portugal and looked after him until his sudden passing.
Thanks to Fr Michael McCaughey for his support and prayers during the wake and for celebrating the funeral mass and for the lovely manner in which he spoke about Garvan. To Lucy for the beautiful singing throughout the mass and to Aileen, Ruairi, Sheila, Ann, Noella and Tracey for the readings.
A special word of thanks to Tony O'Connor and family and to the Bentley Group for looking after Garvan over the last number of years and for the tremendous send-off that you gave Garvan.
To Terry and Angela Morrison for being supportive neighbours - thank you so much.
Thank you to W J O'Brien & Son Funeral Director’s, Eglinton, for your sympathetic professionalism in guiding us through the arrangements, you made a hard time in our lives more bearable.
To all those who called to the house, sent flowers, sympathy cards and sent messages, thank you. To the Bentley Group and all who provided food throughout the wake, thank you for your kindness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. we are grateful for the kindness extended to our family during this difficult time.
Garvan's months mind mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn on Sunday 2nd October 2022 at 12 pm.
Rest easy Garvan in the arms of your angels. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
