12th January 2022, suddenly at his home in Kirton Suffolk. Beloved husband of Laura, devoted dad of Samuel, Aoife and Clodagh, much-loved son of Gerry and Joan, and treasured brother of Anne Marie, Chris and Laura. Son-in-law of Liam, Karen and Pete, Brother-in-law of Kieran, Sean, Vicki and Malachy, fun uncle to Dillon, Miles, Ellis and Curtis. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends in Ireland especially in Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh and those in England, America, Canada and Australia.

Gary’s wake will be in his family home, 52 Limavady Road, Derry between 12 noon and 9pm on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st January. Strictly family time only outside these times. Please adhere to all Covid 19 guidelines when visiting the house.

Gary will leave the family home on Tuesday 1st February at 11.30 for 12.00 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb's Church, Chapel Road, Waterside Derry. Interment will follow immediately at Ballyoan Cemetery, Rossdowney Road, Waterside. The mass can be viewed live via the church webcam or via the link below.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Youth Action Derry, The Ebrington Centre, Glendermott Rd, Derry BT47 6BG.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
