Gene Morgan

Aine, Aimee, Erinn, Katie, Eoghan, Annie and our extended family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude, appreciation and deep thanks to all who sympathised with us on the recent loss of Gene.
We greatly value each one of you who took the time to attend the wake and funeral, send mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and those who donated to Newry Hospice.
We would like to pay a special word of thanks to our wider family and close friends who have supported us throughout Gene's short illness and during the wake and funeral.

Special thanks to Father Charlie Byrne and Father Kearney for their pastoral care. There are no words to express our gratitude for their compassion and sensitivity with Gene, the immense support and love they shared with us as a family, and for celebrating Gene's life at the personal requiem mass.

We also thank Peter McGinn and Sons Funeral Directors for their dignified care and professionalism. We are grateful to Colm and his team for their support, compassion and very personal touches.

A special word of thanks to Oliver at Hospice NI, our district nurses in the South Eastern Trust, Dr Wade in Rathfriland Health Centre and staff, Marie Curie, Newry Hospice and Life & Time.

We are very appreciative of all at JD O'Hare family and staff, all who helped on the lane with lights and traffic control, GOH electrical, Chatterbox, Avenue Taxis, Grants, Kelly’s point hire and Raymac, Fitzpatrick quarry, Kilcoo and Drumgath GAC, Milestone, Drumgath ladies and Linda Gawley for her beautiful singing.

It is impossible to thank all of you, our family friends and neighbours individually for your love and friendship during this time of incredible heartache but we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and deep gratitude.

Gene's months mind will be celebrated on Sunday 24th of December at 10am in St Marys Chapel Rathfriland.
