Acknowledgement
Armstrong, Geordie
Died 21st May 2025

The wife and family of the late Geordie Armstrong, Gillygooley, would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised and supported them on the sad loss of a dearly loved husband, father, father in law, granda, great granda, brother, brother in law and uncle.
Heart felt gratitude goes to all those who visited the family home, brought gifts and assisted with refreshments and car parking. Thanks to everyone who telephoned, sent cards and letters or who left messages via text or social media.
We wish to sincerely thank Reverend Graham Hare and Reverend Alexander Chisnall for their unwavering pastoral support and for conducting such a meaningful funeral service. We appreciate everyone who attended the funeral; special thanks go to Tyrone Farming Society Committee members for providing the guard of honour at the church. It has given us great comfort in knowing that Geordie was so well thought of by so many. Sincere thanks go also to all those who generously gave donations in lieu of flowers.
We are very grateful to the wider St. Columba’s Church family, especially the organist, Mr David Tate, the choir, the caretaker, Mrs Laura Mitchell and the catering team for providing the excellent refreshments after the funeral.
We would like to thank all the healthcare professionals who looked after Geordie, in his own home, in Gortmore Day Centre, in Slieve na Mon Care Centre and in Drumragh Family Practice.
We would like to acknowledge Armstrong Funeral Directors for their care and compassion following Geordie’s death and for their professional and dignified service. Thanks go also to the grave diggers for preparing his final resting place.
As it would be impossible to personally thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our gratitude.
