The family of the late Gerry wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, called at the house and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to all those who participated in the funeral Mass, especially Fr. Stephen, the musicians, including Hugh Curran for his lovely tribute to dad and Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.
We extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all those who offered medical care and support particularly Dr Devlin and the medical staff at Shantallow Health Centre, the Marie Curie and Foyle Hospice nurses and the staff at the Racecourse MediCare pharmacy. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Gerry’s month’s mind Mass will take place on Friday 8 April 2022 at 7pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown.
