Gerald (Gerry) DONNELLY

We, the family of the late Gerald Donnelly of 18 Oughtymoyle Avenue, Bellarena, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sent messages and flowers. We were particularly touched by the kindness of our own family circle, our neighbours and friends and to those who called to the house. This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.

We extend a special thanks to Fr O’Hagan for his great support, kind words and meaningful Requiem Mass, to Liam and Jeanette for the wonderful music and to those who took part in any way. Also a special thanks to the girls in St Aidan’s Hall who provided the beautiful refreshments. We really appreciated it.

We wish to thank the Carers, particularly Terry, Dora, Amy, Lauren, Molly, and Holly, to the doctors and staff of Wards 22 and 42 Altnagelvin Hospital and to the Marie Curie Palliative Care Team for the wonderful care they all showed to Gerry during his illness.

Finally, thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.

Gerry’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Aidan’s Church, Magilligan on Friday 22nd December 2023 at 7.30 pm.
