Gerald (Gerry) McCormack

McCormack (Warrenpoint/Norfolk) 30th October 2025, suddenly at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Gerald (Gerry) beloved son of Gerry and Marie, husband of Lucy, loving father of Finn and Rory and much-loved brother of Brendan and Claire. Brother-in-law of Anthony and Una and cherished uncle of Abbie, Luke, Ronan and Cobi.
Formerly of Charlotte Street, Warrenpoint.
May he rest in peace.

Gerry’s remains will repose at his parent’s home, 8, Elmfield Avenue, Warrenpoint on Tuesday from 3pm – 9pm and on Wednesday from 12pm – 9pm. Removal on Thursday 13th November arriving at St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint for 10.30am Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in Kilbroney Cemetery, Rostrevor.
House private on morning of funeral please.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, uncles, aunts, family circle and friends.

So sadden to hear the unfortunate news, Mr McCormack was an amazing teacher and his kindness throughout our school years will not be forgotten. Thoughts and prayers to his family and may he rest in peace.

The three of us are grateful for the kindness and support he showed us as he watched us grow and learn over our five years at high school. We all looked up to him enormously and we were proud to call him our form tutor. He shall always be a fond memory from our time at Notre Dame, as we’re sure he was to so many of his students. Wishing for peace for his family,

May he rest in peace and that his family are surrounded with support and love. Being close friends with people in his form a few years ago, he made me feel very welcome and i will always be grateful for that. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
