We, the family of the late Gerald Hynds would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on the very sad loss of a much-loved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Thank you to Rev Father Aiden Brankin PP for his support and prayers throughout the wake and also Gerald's Requiem Mass. Thank you also to Father Vincent and Father McHugh who supported the family through prayers.
Thank you to Bernie and Martin for the beautiful singing and music throughout the services.
A special thank you to the Doctors at Struell Surgery, Consultants, Nurses, Marie Curie nurses and carers who looked after and supported Gerald throughout his long illness.
Thank you to Patsy and the staff at Down Funeral Directors for all their help, guidance, kindness and professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and helped in any way they could.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, the Holy Sacrifice will be offered for your intentions.
Gerald's month mind will be held in St Patrick's Church, Saul on Saturday 27 June 2026 at 5pm.
