Gerard (Gerry) Hughes
We the family of the late Gerard (Gerry) Hughes would like to express our deep appreciation and sincere thanks for the support shown to us following the recent loss of our loving husband, father and grandfather.
Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who helped at the house and brought food and refreshments. To all who sent mass cards, messages via social media and attended the wake and funeral.
An enormous thank you to the District nursing team, Dr Giby and the Marie Curie team who went above and beyond for Gerry and our family.
A special thanks to Deacon George for his support and guidance and to kieran and Catriona for the beautiful music at the mass.
To Fintan Flood and his son Peter Gerry’s brother-in-law and Nephew for the loving and dignified manner in which they carried out his funeral.
To Mickey and Noel who played their bandmate out on his final journey you did him proud.
To McCreesh’s of mullaghbawn for the beautiful food afterwards.
Gerry’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 20th of August at 11am in St Patricks Church Dromintee.
