The family of Gerard (Gerry) McCaul would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to all those who supported and sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
They wish to especially thank their kind relatives, friends and neighbours who helped them during this difficult time. To all those who called to the house, attended the funeral, messaged, sent cards, letters, flowers and those who stood out to accompany Gerry on the journey to his final resting place.
Thanks to all the medical professionals for the care and compassion they showed Gerry, particularly the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for him during his final days in Altnagelvin Hospital.
Thanks to Fr Mongan for the touching Requiem Mass and to Fr Farren for his assistance at the graveside at St Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen. Much appreciation also to the singers Bethany, Lauren, Marie Therese and Darren for providing the beautiful music. Finally, sincere thanks to Pat and all at Harley’s Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
9am mass at St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill on Wednesday 8th September will be offered for the repose of Gerry’s soul.
