The family of the late Gerry McAllister would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who supported and sympathized with them on their recent bereavement. Thank you to all those who called at the house, attended the funeral, provided food, sent cards offered messages of condolence. Many thanks also to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, medical and nursing staff of the Emergency Department and Ward A6 of Antrim Area Hospital, as well as the Regional Stroke Unit in the Royal Victoria Hospital, for their care and kindness to Gerry and the family. We extend our gratitude to Fr. Francis O’Brien for his attentiveness and prayers at the family home and for celebrating Gerry’s beautiful requiem mass, and to Fr. Fitzsimons for his prayers at the graveside. We further thank Eugene O’Dornan for the beautiful singing and music during the mass. Our sincere thanks to Ambrose McSparron & Sons Funeral Directors, who carried out the arrangements with sensitivity, care and professionalism. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, and so we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone else, not named here. Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated for Gerry on Saturday 30th August at 5.30pm in St. Anthony’s Church, Larne. Patricia, John, Louise & Elaine McAllister
