The Family of the late Glasgow Thom who passed away on 2nd April 2024, would like to express their most heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all who sympathised with them over the recent weeks.

Thank you most sincerely to everyone who sent food, cards, messages, telephoned, called at our homes and to everyone who attended the Funeral. Your prayers, kindness and support shown to us throughout this difficult time has been very greatly appreciated by us all.

A special thank you to the ladies who made tea at the home during the wake and thank you also to Mr Edwin Henry [JMB Coaches] for providing the minibus to transport all the callers to Dad’s wake.

We would very much like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff from Antrim Area Hospital Ward A1, the Doctors & Staff at the Oaks Family Practice and all the Services that provided care for Daddy over past and in more recent times.

Thank you also to the team of carers who assisted Daddy over the past few months Vanessa, Katie, Patricia, Sharon, Viola, and Margaret.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Rev. Robert Boyd and Rev. William Anderson for their attendance at the home and for the beautiful service and kind words at the Funeral. Thank you also to Rev Rosie Diffin and Archdeacon Peter Thompson for doing the bible readings and to the organist, Sheree Duffy for the beautiful music at Dad’s funeral.

Grateful thanks to ladies of Kildress Parish Church for providing such a beautiful tea after the funeral. It was very much appreciated by us all.

We want to thank most sincerely Helen and Kristy from D. Watters Funeral Services for their caring, compassionate professionalism shown towards us all throughout this sad time and for conducting Dad’s Funeral in such a dignified manner.

We also wish to thank everyone with the greatest appreciation for all your most generous donations towards Air Ambulance.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere thanks and appreciation. Daddy will be greatly missed by us all and we will treasure our memories with him forever. Till we meet again.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our very sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
