Brian, Neil and our extended family wish to acknowledge the help and support given to us during our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in helping care for mum during the last few years including the doctors from Summer Hill surgery, the many carers and district nurses who tended to her needs daily, the various paramedics and ambulance crews, Marie Curie nurses, out of hours staff, everyone at the hospice and all the hospital staff at Daisy Hill.
Thanks to all our family and friends who attended the funeral home and funeral, contacted our family, and sent cards and messages of sympathy.
Thanks to the Rev Andy Hay for the funeral service, mums granddaughter Sarah for leading the hymns, my uncles Gregory and Victor for the speeches and all who assisted at the funeral.
We would also like to thank Micheal and all the pharmacists and staff at Walsh’s Chemist for all their help over the years.
Special thanks also to the members both past and present of Warrenpoint Fire and Rescue Service for the Guard of Honour in Church Street, and thanks to Sarah, Colm, Bernie and staff at the Whistledown Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.
Finally, once more our special thanks to Cathal and everyone at McAnulty Funeral Directors, like dad before her it was mum’s wish that her old neighbours would take her on her final journey, and they did that and much more and we are forever grateful.
We are deeply touched by the many kind gestures and generous support we received from everyone during this difficult time. Your kindness and thoughtfulness have meant so much to us and brought great comfort.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
