Gregory CASSIDY
We, the family of the late Gregory Cassidy, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, or joined us through the webcam.
Heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Raymond Donnelly for the most beautiful and fitting Funeral Mass, which will always bring us such comfort in the years to come. Sincere thanks to Sharon Kelly for her beautiful singing and uplifting music, to the Eucharistic Ministers, and to all who participated so graciously in the Funeral Mass. Special thanks to the Print Factory for producing a most beautiful and treasured funeral booklet.
Heartfelt thank you to Fr. Brian D’Arcy (Graan Monastery), Fr. Joe McVeigh (St. Michael’s Parish), Fr. Gerard Cunningham (PP, Glenties), and Very Rev. Canon Noel McGahan (PP, Clogher), who visited Gregory throughout his illness and gave him great spiritual comfort and support.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to John McKeegan Funeral Directors for their exceptional guidance, care, and professionalism during this difficult time. Their support and attention to detail brought great comfort to our family, and we are deeply grateful for the dignity and compassion with which everything was handled. We are also so grateful to those who prepared Gregory’s final resting place with such attention and care.
We are so appreciative of all those who gave Mass and sympathy cards, sent messages, or paid lovely tributes online. Thank you to all who travelled long distances, gave gifts of food, flowers, or donated money in lieu of Cancer Connect. We are deeply grateful to Cancer Connect for the outstanding help and kindness they gave to Gregory and to us as a family.
Sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours, and work colleagues who have been so supportive and continue to do so at this most difficult time.
We are deeply grateful to Enniskillen Gaels for the outstanding support they gave us in so many ways throughout the wake and funeral. We especially thank all who generously gave their time to provide the shuttle service and those who assisted with parking. The kindness shown by the young people, together with officials from Enniskillen Gaels and other clubs across Fermanagh, was truly uplifting.
We are immensely grateful to all who so kindly provided refreshments at the wake. Your generosity, kindness, and thoughtful care brought us great comfort and will never be forgotten.
Thank you to Mannok Group, Tracey Concrete, Enniskillen Gaels, and Lakeland Pharmacy for honouring Greg with a guard of honour on his final journey. We especially would like to thank Dr. Gormley (A&E, SWAH), Dr. Conor O’Neill (Oncologist, Altnagelvin), and the Cancer Nurses for their exceptional care of Gregory. We also extend our sincere gratitude to District Nurse Jonathan Duggan, Rapid Response Nurses Lorraine and Carmel, and Palliative Care Nurses Lisa and Jackie for the excellent care they provided during Gregory’s illness. Your compassion, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
Our final thanks to Greg’s colleagues in Mannok, where he worked for many years, for the wonderful support they gave him during his illness. He was so appreciative of the many messages, phone calls, and visits, which he greatly enjoyed. Your kindness, generosity, and friendship will never be forgotten.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Thank you to everyone for your love, support, kindness, and prayers at this very sad time.
Gregory’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 6th September, at 4.30 p.m. in The Graan Monastery. All are warmly welcome.
