Gretta HARGAN
We, the family of the late Gretta Hargan RIP, would like to express our most sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We say thank you to all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and flowers. The presence of many people at the wake and at the Requiem Mass was very consoling for us.
We extend our appreciation to the doctors and community nurses of Claudy Health Centre for their excellent medical and nursing care. We thank Ann Marie from the Rapid Response team and also the Marie Curie nurses who attended to mum. We are very grateful for the care and commitment offered by Bridie, Patricia, Biddy and Annie, their presence to mum was so valuable. We acknowledge the care and kindness offered by Catherine, Christine , Natalie and Sabrina in her final days.
Sincere thanks to Mons Bryan McCanny, Fr Francis Bradley, Fr Raymond McCullagh, Fr Gerard Mongan and Fr Micheal McGavigan for attending the wake, offering prayers and support. We are deeply grateful to Fr David O Kane and Fr Michael McCaughey for their pastoral care to Gretta through the years and for concelebrating the Requiem mass.
We thank Willie, Kieran and Noeleen O'Brien for their dignified and professional handling of the funeral arrangements and to Kathryn Ellis and Declan Carlin for the beautiful music.
The family were also deeply touched by the generosity of time and hospitality offered by relatives, neighbours and friends, as well as to pupils from St Patrick's and St Brigid's College for their Guard of Honour.
We thank Bridget, Bernie and Tracy for helping to facilitate the catering after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually the family trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our thanks and appreciation.
Gretta's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Tuesday 15th July at 7.30 pm in St Patrick's Church, Claudy.
