The death has occurred of:
Gwen ADAMS
The family of the late Gwen Adams would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us on the sad loss of a precious mother, much loved sister and aunt.
We extend our most grateful thanks to the entire family circle, friends and neighbours who took the time to visit us, brought food and flowers and helped in any way. A special word of thanks to Barbara Pinkerton for providing delicious refreshments and Mervyn Clarke for parking space. Many thanks also to everyone who sent sympathy cards, messages of condolences, attended the funeral services and generously gave donations to “Care for Cancer.” Thank you so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
We would like to acknowledge all the healthcare professionals who gave such compassion and empathy, exceptional care, support and medical attention towards Gwen over the past number of years. A huge thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the North West Cancer Centre, the Ulster Hospital Team, the Beragh District Nursing Team, the Doctors and Staff of the Drumragh Family Practice, the Medical Teams at South West Acute Hospital, including the staff of ICU and Paul and Staff of Tallon’s Chemist, Sixmilecross.
A sincere thank you to Rev. Robert McFaul for his support, words of comfort, prayers and conducting the services. Our gratitude is also extended to Julie, Jonathan and Jason for reading poems and the eulogy and to Judith Kempston at Floral Temptations for the beautiful floral tribute.
Finally, we wish to extend special thanks and warm appreciation to John Anderson c/o J.H. Anderson and Sons for the compassion and caring guidance shown to us as a family and for the dignified and professional manner in which all the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted”
