FORREST
Henry
9 Erne Drive, EDERNEY
9th May 2025

We, the family of the late Henry Forrest R.I.P, would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent loss. We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who travelled great distances to be with us. We will forever be grateful especially for people’s prayers, and the numerous kind and thoughtful messages received. We sincerely thank family, neighbours, friends and work colleagues who visited, brought food and helped in various ways. The widespread and extended support has been a great source of comfort to us. Our gratitude is extended especially to Fr Frank McManus PP, St Josephs Ederney & Deacon John Fletcher, Glasgow for their spiritual support, visits with us and celebrating Henry’s funeral mass. In addition, we also extend our gratitude to Fr Kevin McElhennon PP, Killyclogher for his kind spiritual support for both Henry & us as a family. Our thanks also to those who provided the music and assisted in the liturgy of the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to the guards of honour from the residents of Erne Drive and to the members of St Josephs GAC. Thanks, and appreciation to Joe and his team at Mahons Hotel, Irvinestown.
We would also like to sincerely thank all the staff at NWCC Altnaglevin; Antrim Area Hospital; RVH Belfast; Belfast City Hospital, District Nursing Teams from Dromore & Irvinestown; Dromore & Trillick Surgery; Foyle Hospice Pallative Team; Marie Curie Nurses & Assistants and to all of Henry’s Carers for the great care and respect provided to Henry during his time of illness. We as a family are forever grateful.
Sincere thanks to McKervey Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassionate and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements at this difficult time.
A special word of thanks for all the kind donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie.
While it is impossible to mention everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a gesture of our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and continues to support us following our loss. The holy sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Henry’s Months Memory Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church, Ederney at 7.30pm on Friday 13th June 2025

O Sacred heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in Thee
