The death has occurred of:
Hilary DOUGLAS
The family of the late Hilary Douglas would like to express our heartfelt and sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to all our kind friends, neighbours and extended family who helped in so many ways during the wake and funeral and especially those who visited Hilary in hospital throughout his illness.
Sincere thanks to everyone who provided food, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, telephoned or sent messages.
We are very appreciative of the care Hilary received throughout his illness, especially from the Doctors and Staff of Southwest Acute Hospital, Dr. Bradley and Staff of Three Spires Surgery and also Omagh Group Pharmacy for their kind support.
Many thanks to all those who attended Hilary's Requiem Mass and burial and also those who joined us on the Parish webcam. Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Thomas Canning who celebrated Hilary's Requiem Mass and for his spiritual support and guidance during the wake. Many thanks to James McShane for the beautiful singing and music provided and to everyone who contributed in any way during the funeral Mass.
We extend our deepest gratitude to J. Maguire and staff for the efficient, dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers who prepared the grave.
Our grateful appreciation to Drumquin Parish Hall volunteers for providing the welcome refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. May Hilary's gentle, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest, so sadly missed by everyone.
Hilary's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 6th November in St. Patrick's Church, Drumquin, at 7.30pm.
St. Padre Pio intercede for him.
