Hugh HERRON
Charles and Margaret, the brother and sister of the late Hugh, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to all who called to Hugh’s home, sent messages, Mass cards, cards of condolence, sent beautiful flower arrangements and attended the funeral or helped in any way.
Special thanks to Fr Michael McCaughey for his pastoral support and the beautiful funeral Mass. To Anne Marie Hickey and her accompanist for the beautiful sacred music.
To the Nursing staff Wards 40 and 42 Altnagelvin Hospital for their care whilst Hugh was a patient there.
Thanks to Jennifer and her staff at Oakleaves Care Home, Racecourse Rd. The professional way they cared for Hugh and their kindness to him and to us throughout his time there was simply exceptional as was their reverence and respect at the time of his death.
We wish to thank Judith and Cathy for their loyalty to Hugh over the years and all their help at the time of his death.
Thanks to Kieran, Noeleen and staff at W J O’Brien for their professionalism in all the funeral arrangements.
Special thanks to Hugh’s neighbours Sean and Kathryn Gibbons and Chris and Maria Power. Their kindness to Hugh over the years was second to none especially during the Covid pandemic.
Finally, to all our wonderful friends and family who have been with us every step of the way we thank you most sincerely.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we would ask that you please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Hugh’s months mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn on Wednesday 16th August at 7pm.
