Died August 5, 2017, (suddenly), loving father of Andrew and loving partner to Christine, beloved brother of Vivian, Freda and their dearly departed sister Sandra, uncle to Tony, David, Ann, John and Michael.

A Funeral Service will be held in St. Simon’s Parish Church, Donegall Road on Thursday August 10th at 1.00 p.m., followed by Committal at Roselawn Crematorium at 3.00 p.m.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, payable to Diabetes UK, care of Co-op Funeralcare, 139-141 Kingsway, Dunmurry BT17 9RY.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Ian was a light in my life. He encouraged and supported me and always made me feel I was his valued friend. He gave of himself to others whole-heartedly because he believed in people. He grasped life and cherished it. My heart aches for his family in their loss. I know the gap his passing will leave in my life, how big that gap will be in theirs I can only imagine. I miss him already. Be at peace Ian. I am so proud to have been your friend.
