ALEXANDER- Ian, Glenhordial, Omagh, passed away 26th March 2026.

Arlene and we the family of Ian - Avis, Stephen and Rhonda, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends, neighbours and Church family, who sympathised, supported and continue to care for us after our sudden loss of Ian.
Your kindness and prayers have brought great comfort to us all.
Thanks to all who telephoned, sent cards or letters and messages of condolence. To those who called to our homes and brought food, flowers and gifts.
We are deeply grateful to the vast number of people, who travelled near and far to attend the wake and the funeral both held in First Omagh Presbyterian Church to pay their respects to Ian and offer condolences.
Sincere appreciation to Rev. Jane Nelson for conducting the beautiful funeral service and to Rev. Eleanor Hayden (Omagh Methodist) for taking part in the service and their continued support to us.
Our heartfelt thanks to all who prepared the Church for the wake and the funeral and to those who assisted with car parking.
To the organist John Campbell, to Judith Kempston from Floral Temptations for the beautiful floral tributes, to W&H Alexander (Civil Engineering) Ltd work colleagues and friends for their guard of honour and to Gordon Simpson for his dignified and solemn piping outside the Church following the service.
To the T – Ladies who provided the beautiful refreshments in the hall after service.
To all those who gave donations in lieu to First Omagh Presbyterian Church, we extend our thanks.
Finally, sincere thanks to Derek Armstrong (Funeral Director) and his team for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Always in our hearts.
Arlene, Avis, Stephen, Rhonda and families.
