The death has occurred of

Rev. Irene Elizabeth WALLACE (née SKEA)

May 6, 2020, Irene passed away, peacefully, aged 68. Born Burnside, Forfar, Scotland, late of Cairn Cottage, Magheralave, Lisburn, Northern Ireland, dearly-beloved wife of Paul, much-loved and loving mother to Elizabeth and Stephen, dear mother-in-law of Jonathan and Natalie and devoted grannie to Catherine and Grace, dear sister of Joyce, John, Florence, Ernest, Catherine, Allan and Gordon.

House and funeral private, owing to current regulations.

For memorial contributions the family has designated Pepik Church of the Nazarene in Papua New Guinea, where Irene began her ministry. Donations, if desired, made payable to N.M.I. Church of the Nazarene c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF.

For many years Irene has walked with God. On Wednesday that walk was lifted to a new and higher level. Jesus said, Irene your body is worn out, it is time to leave it behind and come on Home to Heaven with me where there is no sickness, weakness, pain or suffering.
We will miss her terribly, but her time of weakness and suffering is over.

Irene had 'fought the good fight, she had finished the race, she had kept the faith. There is in store for her a crown of righteousness.' (2 Timothy Ch. 4. v. 7.)
