The death has occurred of:
Iris CROMWELL
CROMWELL, Iris
Ronnie, Dorothy, Paul and the extended Cromwell family circle would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with them following the passing of their much-loved Mum, Iris.
We are deeply grateful to the staff at Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals for the compassionate care provided to Mum in her final days. Sincere thanks also go to the doctors, nurses and staff at Loughbrickland Surgery, who looked after her with such dedication throughout the years.
To all who sent cards and messages, called at the family home, provided food, attended the funeral or made donations to St Paul’s Church, raising an incredible £2,105.00, please know that your kindness brought great comfort during a very difficult time.
Special thanks to Rev’d Pat Kerr for his pastoral care of Mum since joining St Paul’s and for conducting the funeral service with such kindness and sensitivity. We are also especially thankful to Rev’d Willie Nixon of Holy Trinity, Banbridge, for his thoughtful visits on Mum’s final day, for praying with her and offering comfort and reassurance. Also, for leading the prayers in St Paul’s and for conducting the service at the family home.
Our appreciation also goes to the Ladies of Castlewellan Presbyterian Church for providing refreshments after the funeral and to Jeffrey Spiers of (Wallace Shaw Funeral Directors) and his staff for the respectful and personalised way in which all arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
