The family of the late Ivan Burke wish to acknowledge with grateful appreciation the kind expressions of sympathy, love and support shown to them during their recent sad bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to family and friends who helped us during this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who called to the house and attended the funeral and for all the kindness shown during what was a very difficult time after the sudden loss of our beloved Ivan.

Sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, healthcare and ambulance staff for their care and attention during his short illness.

A special word of thanks to Rev. Nick Cooper for the beautiful service and for making the funeral so personal. We are indebted to him for the support and comfort that he showed us during this difficult time. We also wish to thank Victoria for piping so beautifully on the day of Ivan’s funeral.

We are very grateful to all who honoured Ivan’s memory by their generous donations.

Finally we would like to thank Gilmore Funeral Directors for their guidance as well as the professional, sensitive and dignified manner in which they carried out their duties.

God called your name so softly that only you could hear,
and no-one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

Always on our minds and forever in our hearts. Will be sadly missed by his loving family.
