19th February 1935 – 7th November 2021
The Wife and Family of the late Ivan Wilson, 88 Pomeroy Road, Tamnaskenny, Cookstown wish to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all who lined the route to the Church, attended the funeral service, sent cards, texts and flowers, telephoned, visited us since the funeral and remembered us in their prayers. We wish to especially thank those who consistently enquired after Ivan and visited him at home throughout all the years of his long and difficult illness (he always enjoyed the visits).

We also wish to thank Ivan’s Minister, the Rev Diane Matchett for conducting the funeral service and for her sincere kindness. We would like to express our deep appreciation to Dr. Brown from The Oaks Family Practice, Cookstown. Thanks also to the Staff of Craigavon Area Hospital for their twelve days of care for Ivan, and not forgetting the kind Staff of Fairfields Care Centre, Cookstown for meeting Ivan’s needs during his final eighteen days.

Many thanks also to everyone who kindly and generously gave donations in lieu of flowers to the Cookstown Branch of the Royal British Legion (total £795.00).

Finally, we want to say thank you to Helen and the staff of D. Watters Funeral Services, Tobermore for carrying out the funeral arrangements with sympathy, dignity and professionalism.

“The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord”. Job 1 v 21 (KJV)
