Jack Beattie
The family of the late Jack (Armour John) Beattie would like to thank all those who sympathised with
them in their recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank those who called at the home,
attended the funeral, sent cards and telephoned. The kindness and support extended to us was and
is greatly appreciated. We extend our gratitude to those who brought gifts to the home, sent
donations to Badoney Presbyterian Church and who helped in any other way. Special thanks to the
Rev Thompson for visitation and his words of comfort at the funeral service and to the ladies of
Badoney Presbyterian Church for providing refreshments and sincere hospitality after the funeral
service. Our appreciation is extended to Mr David Baxter for preparing the burial ground and for his
dedicated maintenance of Droit graveyard. We would like to specially thank the carers of the
Western trust especially Angela, Florence and Pauline and Glencaring staff for their care and
kindness. Appreciation is expressed to the paramedics, to the PSNI for traffic control and for their
thoughtfulness, efficiency and advice. Sincere thanks go to Hood & Co for the dignified yet personal
manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Trusting this acknowledgment will be
accepted as a token or our sincere appreciation.
