We, the family of Jackie Begley, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude
to everyone who supported us during this most difficult time.
Your kindness, comforting words, stories and gestures of sympathy
have provided immense comfort and reassurance,
and we are deeply appreciative of the love shown to our daddy and to us.
Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, flowers or messages
and to those who kept us in their thoughts and prayers.
Your support has meant more than words can say and will always be remembered with sincere thanks.
We would like to thank the “Devenney Girls” once again for their invaluable support and help
during the wake and our cousin Pat for the beautiful floral arrangements in the house.
Their thoughtfulness and generosity meant so much to us at this time.
We are especially grateful to Fr Séan O’Donnell for the lovely Funeral Mass
and to all those who participated in the liturgy, readings and offertory.
Our heartfelt thanks to Gerard and Ruth for the beautiful music and singing
which brought warmth and comfort to the ceremony.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all those who cared for daddy during his illness.
This includes the Home Care Support Teams, Rebecca, his fellow Man Utd fan,
and Dr McCamphill who attended him in the nursing home.
And to the staff of Woodmount Nursing Home for the exceptional care that daddy received.
We will be forever grateful for the dignity, kindness and compassion he was treated with throughout his time there.
We are also especially grateful to Billy, Joan and daddy’s many friends
for the continued kindness and friendship they showed to him throughout his illness
and time in the nursing home which brought comfort to both him and our family.
A special word of thanks to Jude and the staff at Quigley’s Funeral Home
for their compassion throughout this difficult time. Their professionalism and understanding
made the process easier for our family and we are truly grateful for their support.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually,
we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token
of our appreciation and gratitude to all who supported us during this difficult time.
