The family of the late Jack Mc Callion would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who have sympathised and supported them throughout their recent bereavement.

We would like to thank his doctors and staff at Riverfront Medical, the home care team who have looked after Jack, especially over the last couple of years, and more recently the staff of Culmore Manor who have looked after Jack in his final days.

We would like to say thanks to everyone who called at his home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, for all the messages posted and for the special acknowledgment on social media by the Lough Foyle Canine Association.

A special thank you to the staff and members at Age Concern, Chapel Road where Jack made many good friends over the years. We thank you for the guard of honour on Chapel Road at his funeral.

We would also like to thank those who lined the funeral route including his neighbours, those who attended the funeral and joined the mass via the Parish webcam.

We are grateful to Fr Canny for visiting the house, for his support, prayers and his celebration of Jack’s life during the funeral mass. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to and participated in the ceremony including the readers, the beautiful singing and music.

We are extremely grateful to W J O’Brien Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger who prepared Jack’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Jack’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Derry, on Friday 16th of July at 7.30 pm and via the Parish webcam.
