Acknowledgement.
James (Bimbo) Taggart.
Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Died 29th May 2022.
Daddy passed away on the 29th of May, a widely respected, much loved family man, beloved husband to Patricia, devoted father to Jason, Stacy, Sean and Laura, grandfather to Fionnbharr, Oisín, Cathair, Fianna, Eoghan, Eireann and Saorlaith. Brother to Bernie (deceased), Mickey, Anne and Thomas, Uncle and friend. We wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us by bringing meals etc. through Daddy’s illness. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of messages we have received. Our thanks to those who called to the house, who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards or flowers and to those who left messages online. Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us in so many ways during the wake and to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Eugene Hasson and Father Kevin Mullan for their spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians Fergal and Stephen who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Daddy’s final resting place.
We extend our gratitude to all the district nurses who helped Daddy during his illness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Bimbo’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh on Wednesday 29th June at 7.30pm.
‘Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place all our trust in thee’
