James (Eoin) STEWART

Our Family is broken hearted to inform you that Eoin Stewart passed away on 29th October 2022 at 6.00pm at the Mater hospital at the age of 56.

Darling husband of Justine and proud Dad to his three children Rebecca, Daniel and Mark.

Eoin’s remains are reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 12 Portland Avenue, Glengormley, BT36 5EY until removal on Friday 4th November at 11.30am to arrive at his late residence for 12.00 noon.

There will be a short private home service on Monday 7th November at 9:30am followed by cremation at 11:20am at Roselawn Crematorium.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Chest Heart and Stroke Association, C/o O’Kanes Funeral Directors, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX (Tel: 02890 243129) or online at www.okanesfunerals.co.uk

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Eoin was one of the best and a good friend of ours from our childhood and teenage days spent in the Cushendun. Part of the North Belfast squad which decamped to the village each summer, we were quite the gang and many an adventure was had!
Eoin also looked after my Daddy, George McCullough, many times when he was ill as a patient in The Mater Hospital and Eoin went out of his way to do so. A great Cliftonville fan too - one of the originals! Our Deepest Condolences to Roisin and Paul and all of Eoin's family. Thank you Eoin and God Bless you now.
