We, the family of the late James (Jim) Blair who passed away peacefully on 7th March 2024 at Rockfield Nursing Home, surrounded by his family, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our recent bereavement.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours and many well wishers who provided us with emotional and practical support at this difficult time.

We are deeply grateful to all those who telephoned, sent Mass Offerings, flowers and Sympathy Cards.

A special word of thanks to the amazing staff of Rockfield Nursing Home for their grace and professional support given to Dad during his time there and in his final moments the level of care provided to him was exceptional from all the wonderful staff.
We will never forget.

We want to thank our family friend Sheila Pentony who has been a constant support to both our parents over the last number of years, for her loving care, we will never forget.

For the years prior to Dad going into Rockfield, we want to thank Tina McClelland and her team of Care Assistants who provided excellent care to both our Parents.

We want to thank Meadowlands Surgery Doctors, Nurses and Staff ,the Pharmacists and Staff of McKeevers Chemist for their professionalism and care over the years.

We thank Patricia and her team at Heaney's Funeral Home for being so efficient and dedicated to providing an excellent service allowing all funeral arrangements to pass smoothly.

We wish to say special words of thanks to Fr Carlos and Fr Colum Wright who attended to Dad during his illness and provided spiritual comfort and grace in his hours of need.
We will never forget.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions and as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

At this time we also want to lovingly remember our Mother Rita, whose 4th Anniversary occurs on the 7th June.

Fly fly little wing, fly beyond imagining ,the sun will rise, the moon will set but we won't forget.
Loved always and forever in our hearts.

For our Parents
Lord of Life & Love
as we give thanks for times past,
Grant us courage to embrace the present
and grace to share the future.

In memory of our Dear Mum and Dad, Rita & Jim,
Kindle their flame to shine in the dark for us and light our paths ahead.
In their memory and in appreciation and love for the faith they passed on to us,
show us the way that leads to life, as we cherish days gone by.

Inspire us with the touch of love, faith and hope, safe in the knowledge
"we will meet again some sunny day"

Jim and Rita always loved and remembered by their Sons Liam and Denis, Daughters Janet and Sharon, Grandchildren Lydia and Shea and Sons-In-Law Alan and Seamus.

The interment of our Father Jim's ashes will take place on Sunday 2nd June 2024 ,where he will be be taken to his permanent resting place, beside his beloved Rita following the 10.30 am Mass at St Mary's Chapel.
