James (Jim) IRVINE

The family of the late James (Jim) Irvine, 11 Clareen Drive, Strathfoyle, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To our community and neighbours and to those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, messages, flowers and food - these were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.

We would also like to express gratitude and thanks to the nurses and staff at Ward 24, Altnagelvin Hospital.

We extend a special thanks to Fr Canny for his comforting words and the lovely Requiem Mass and to our dad's life-long best friend Mick McBride for his wonderful eulogy, which he delivered in a way that exactly summed up our dad in the way we all knew him. Thanks also to Chloe, Darci and Alan for the beautiful singing and music and to Casey, Ethan and Erin for their heartfelt readings.

Thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.

Thank you to all that donated to Dementia N.I in lieu of flowers.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family's deep appreciation.

Dad's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 1st December at 7.00pm in St Oliver Plunkett Chapel, Strathfoyle.
