The death has occurred of:
James (Jim) KANE
Jim’s family would like to thank our friends, wider family circle, dearest colleagues and all those who sympathised with us, attended the wake or funeral service, brought/sent cards, shared fond memories and who ensured our needs were met following our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank the staff at Eglinton Medical Practice, Ward 31 Altnagelvin Hospital and the Foyle Hospice for the care provided to Jim. Special mention to Dr Damien McMullan and Michelle (Foyle Hospice) who brought a little bit of light and afforded us the opportunity to have precious moments in our darkest time. Thanks also to the staff at Faughanvale PS, P2 parents and pupils for their dedication and invaluable support to Grace.
Thank you to WJ O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, especially Noeleen, for the empathetic and professional manner in which they helped us to celebrate Jim’s life in their beautiful surroundings, to fulfil his final wishes and to carry the burden of organising all this with and for us so strongly. Many thanks also to Curran’s bakery, who have a special place in our memories of Jim, for the catering after the service and to Rachael for the beautiful PowerPoint presentation. Finally, thank you to Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium for their high class and personal service.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually so please accept this as acknowledgment of our deep appreciation for all the support that we have been given and continue to receive.
Jim, you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Thank you with so much love.
Many thanks
Christine
