James (Jimmy) Friel
Jimmy’s sisters along with his nieces,
nephews and extended family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all
those who sympathised with them through their recent bereavement.
Heart felt thanks to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who visited our home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, provided food, helped out at the wake, gave donations in lieu of flowers to the Foyle hospice and who attended the requiem mass or viewed the service online.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Altnagelvin Hospital, Belfast City Hospital, Northside Medical Practice and the Foyle Hospice for all their care.
We extend a special thanks to Fr. John Forbes for the beautiful mass. We would also like to thank Fr Daniel McFaul, Fr Ignassy Saniuta, Fr Michael Canney and Father Gerard Mongan for their prayers and support.
Thank you to Ciara McCafferty for the beautiful music at the requiem mass.
Our sincere gratitude is extended to Debra & Seamus and all staff at McLaughlin Funeral Directors, Dungiven for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As we are unable to thank evervone individually, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
Jimmy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 12th June at 7.30pm in the Long Tower Chapel.
