James (Jimmy) McGRATH
McGrath, James (Jimmy) 73 Ballymangan Road, Killeter, Castlederg, died 17th June 2025.
We the family of the late James McGrath, beloved husband of Winnie, father of Seamus (Colette) and Mary (Vincent), grandfather of Ciara, Ciaran, Shay and Orlagh, brother of Paddy (Mary Ann) and the late Charlie (Jessie R.I.P.) and nephew Charles. Caring brother in law and good friend to many.
We are grateful to all who sent mass and sympathy cards and to those who left messages online and via social media. Thank you to all of our family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral, helped in the family home, and brought food.
We would like to thank the carers from North West Caring and Glen Caring for their support.
?We would like to thank the Western Rural Healthcare, Castlederg and the Castlederg District Nursing Tea and the staff of Donaghy’s Chemist, Castlederg.
We would like to also thank Fr Fraser, Fr Gilmore, Fr Atkinson and Fr Canning for calling at the family home during the wake.
A special word of thanks to Fr Fraser, for his spiritual support and very comforting Requiem Mass and to Fr Gilmore and Fr Mc Cawille who also assisted at the Funeral Mass.
Special thanks to James McShane and Joan McCrystal for the beautiful music during the Requiem Mass.
Special thanks to Charlie and Martin of Charles Lynch Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers.
Thank you to St. Davog’s GAA Centre, Aghyaran for the refreshments after the funeral.
