We the brothers and sisters of the late James (Jimmy) Rushe would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
A sincere thanks to Jimmy’s brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family. To Jimmy’s many lifelong treasured friends who were a constant source of care and support throughout the years. Also, his wonderful neighbours who were always very kind to Jimmy.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake, sent Mass and sympathy cards, all those who phoned, sent messages of support and for the many heartwarming stories and memories of Jimmy.

A fervent word of thanks to Fr. Boyle for his heartening celebration of Jimmy’s life. Also, to the many people who attended the Requiem Mass or joined us by webcam. We cannot thank Sonlight enough for their beautiful singing and heartfelt music.

We would like to especially thank Joanna and Loughran Funeral Directors for their dignified, professional and respectful service and, also to those who prepared Jimmy’s final resting place.

Thank you to Michael McElhatton and staff of the Greenvale Hotel for the lovely refreshments provided after the funeral.

A special thank you to the staff of Dr Graham’s Surgery for their care over the years and to the staff of ward A1 Antrim Area Hospital for their attentiveness to Jimmy. We wish to thank the carers who attended Jimmy at home and for their kindness. Thank you also, to Falls Pharmacy Cookstown.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we the Rushe Family hope that this acknowledgement will be taken as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Jimmy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be offered on Saturday 26th October at 10:00am in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown.
