James Devine, Died 30th April 2025, aged 87 years

James’s sister Maureen, Sister-in-law Helen, Niece Brenda (Aidan), Nephew’s Patrick and Michael (Nicola),
along with our extended family circle, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to the various staff and medical professionals of Sperrin Family Practice, Altnagalvin Hospital, and the SWAH Enniskillen for their care for James in recent times.
A special word of thanks to all of the home care team for their professionalism and dignified manner with how they looked after James, and to the staff of Hillcrest Nursing home (Omagh) for the great care and support they gave in the last few months. We especially wish to express our gratitude to the large amount of people who personally visited our home to pay their respects, brought Mass and Sympathy cards, gifts, and for the phone calls of support. Thank you to all our kind neighbours who helped tirelessly throughout the wake, and to Quigley undertakers, for their great work in carrying out the funeral duties. A special thank you to Fr. McDevitt for visiting throughout the wake and for conducting a beautiful Funeral Mass, as well as the gravediggers who prepared James’ final resting place. Thanks also to the Eucharistic ministers, and to the musicians for the beautiful music they provided throughout the Mass. Thank you to the committee of Aughabrack community hall for allowing us to use their facilities following the funeral, and Hilltop cafe who helped prepare the food.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment would be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

James’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st June, at 10.30am in St Mary’s Church, Aughabrack.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his Soul
