Dear Daddy ... you were one of a kind! You were a very kind and gentle soul, who sacrificed so much of yourself for others, the half of which most will never know. For me, you were always a very present help in times of trouble and a trusted guide whose advice I always sought. I am so sorry I could not be there for you, but you are never far from my thoughts. Dear Freda, Pauline, Angelo, Rachel and James,
My heart aches for you all at this time at the loss of a great husband wonderful father and an amazing grandad. Jim was just the most kind, compassionate and loyal man I've ever known. He was so genuine and upright, I loved him so, so much.
Your Dad’s love and strength got me through some of the darkest days in my life and any time I needed anything a talk or guidance Jim was there. We as a family felt loved by him and to me, he was Uncle Jim a gift from God a truly loyal friend who wanted what was good for me and my girls.
No words suffice at the deep sadness I feel of his passing. I want you to know we will be praying for you all at this time.
Jim loved His saviour and he was a faithful servant of God.I rejoice in the fact we will see him in glory.

There are no words that can describe what a very special father you were, and how I feel right now. You loved your girls and the rest of the family. You loved my mother with a full heart. I am sorry I could not be there for your passing, but I knew that you would always be there for us. You always wanted the best for everyone, and you worked all your days to provide for your family.
Now that you have run your race, you can rest in God’s eternal peace. I miss you already and cry to think I will not see you for a while. You have been a special blessing in my life and within the lives of my family. I can see you smiling and talking to my kids sitting at my kitchen table. I also see you at the Church door giving lollies to the kids going into Sunday School. I occasionally get your hymn book you used at use at Church and recognise your writing and quietly smile. I see your love everywhere and feel blessed to have had you as my father.

As a family friend I, Joseph Antony Dass met you in your house in Woodvale, Western Australia many years ago. You were a very kind and friendly man who was quick to help anyone in need. Your jokes were memorable and quick witted. I sincerely missed you when you went overseas. I also heard great things about you from my daughter’s father-in-law who you worked with for many years.
