JAMES IRELAND
16 August 2018, (suddenly), at home, Lisburn Avenue, Belfast. Dearly-loved husband of the late Lilian and loving father of Karan and Roisin, father-in-law of William and Brian, much-loved and loving grandfather of James, John, Julie, Lisa and Gary.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday 20th August at Roselawn Crematorium at 3.00 p.m, family flowers only please, donations, in memory if desired, to Diabetes UK c/o Meville Morgan Funeral Directors, 257 Lisburn Road BT9 7EN.
He never looked for praise, he was never one to boast,
he just went on quietly working for those he loved the most,
his dreams were seldom spoken, his words were very few
and most of the time his worries were left unspoken too,
he was there a strong foundation through all our storms in life,
a steady hand to hold us in times of stress and strife,
a true friend that we could turn to, when times were good or bad,
one of our greatest blessings that man that we called dad.
