James Maguire (Lavey)
The family of the late James Maguire would like to express our appreciation and sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to convey our thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours for all their help and support. Especially those who visited James in hospital during his illness. To those who called at the Chapel of Rest, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and attended the funeral.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of ward C3 Antrim Area hospital, Dr McNeill and his staff at Maghera Health Centre.
A special thanks to Fr Graham PP, Lavey, for his comfort to James in his final days and the beautiful Funeral Mass. Special thanks to all who participated in the Liturgy of the Mass, to the readers, Eucharistic Ministers. To Una McGill for the beautiful music and singing, Thank you. To the grave diggers who prepared James’s final resting place.
A special word of thanks to Seán and the staff of Lavey GAA Club for the refreshments after the funeral.
The family would like to thank Michael and Nicholas Gormley of J A Gormley funeral directors, Maghera and Coleraine for the care and compassion they showed to the family and the professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere expression of the family’s gratitude.
James’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 13th June 2026 at 6pm in St. Mary’s Church, Lavey.
