The death has occurred of:
James McAleer
McAleer James, Omagh, Co Tyrone, formerly of 23B Circular Road, Omagh, BT79 7HJ. Died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital on Monday 22nd June 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Irene (neé McCrumlish). Treasured father of Conard, Neil, Kerry, Brendan (Laura) and Joanne (Chris). Loving and devoted grandfather to Molly, Keira, James, Aoife and Torin. Cherished brother of Liam, Noel, Una, Eugene, Irene Gallagher, Raymond, Rodney, Emma Fox and the late Helen Fitzgerald.
James will be reposing in his late residence from 4pm until 9pm on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 and from 2pm until 9pm on Wednesday 24th June 2026. House private on morning of funeral.
James will leave his late residence at 9.30am on Thursday 25th June for 10am requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please. The family would, however, appreciate it if everyone could consider donating a pint of blood to the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service in memory of the late James.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, James will travel from the Circular Road and along the Old Mountfield Road and Tirquin Road to arrive at St. Mary’s Church for 9.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughter in law, son in law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
