James’s family, his wife Patricia, son John, daughters Joanne, Una and Bronagh and family circle wish to express their sincere gratitude for the kind support and sympathy extended to them during their recent bereavement.
Special thanks to the Doctors, District Nurses and staff of Kilrea Health Centre and Belfast and Antrim Hospitals for their care and attention during James’s illness, also to all the medical professionals and Care Teams who ensured James was comfortable at home during his illness.
A special thanks to Fr John Cargan and Fr Francis O’Brien for their spiritual support and celebrating the Requiem Mass together with Canon Liam Stevenson and Fr Charles Lawange Kaweesi.
To all those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, telephoned, sent messages on social media, donations in lieu of flowers, and brought food we are truly grateful.
Sincere thanks to all our family, neighbours and friends who called at the home, attended the funeral, travelled long distances and to the many people who lined the route of the cortege on his journey to the Church, and watched the service online.
Thanks to the Gribbin Girls for providing the beautiful music during the Mass and singing at the Graveside, to Wishy Draine for preparing the grave and finally, sincere thanks to Dempsey’s Funeral Directors, Kilrea for the professional, compassionate and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out.
