The staff of the School of Mathematics and Physics at Queen's University Belfast are deeply saddened by the loss of their esteemed colleague, Professor H R J Walters.
For nearly five decades James has contributed passionately to the education of our students, while generously supporting the professional growth of his junior colleagues, building an internationally recognised scientific legacy, and serving the School by taking up key roles.
James' kindness, advice and wisdom will be sorely missed.
