Jamie Thompson R.I.P.
We, the parents Aidan and Lisa, and family of the late Jamie Thompson R.I.P take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the help and support we have received during and since Jamie's tragic and untimely passing.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Ambulance Service paramedics and PSNI personnel who attended Jamie on the night.
We thank all those who called at the house, attended the wake and funeral, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy and floral tributes; brought food; and to Martina and all who helped out in the kitchen.
Our grateful appreciation to Richard and Brian Thompson for organising the lighting and traffic control at our home; to Aidan Meehan for his assistance with traffic control on the morning of the funeral; to Philly and Caoimhghin for driving their tractors to Jamie's funeral and Jamie's best friends, Ashley and Dylan, who led the cortege from his home; to Conor Kelly and all Jamie's close workmates; to Daniel Collum for his assistance with the farming and to Kings of the Road for the poignant video tribute to Jamie.
A special thank you to Jones Memorial Primary School for the amazing support shown to Daithi and Annie during the wake and funeral and our sincere appreciation to Reverend McWhirter for his pastoral care.
Our grateful appreciation to Fr. Cathal Deery who attended Jamie on the evening of his passing, for his continued guidance and support and for celebrating Jamie's requiem Mass; and to Fr. Seamus Quinn and Fr. Brian D'Arcy for their support during the wake and funeral.
Thank you to all those who participated in Jamie's funeral Mass; to Samantha Breslin and Ciaran Carson for the beautiful music in the chapel and at the graveside.
A huge thank you to the staff and pupils from St. Joseph's College; South West College Enniskillen and Derrygonnelly Harps for their support and Guards of Honour at Jamie's funeral.
Our grateful appreciation to the gravediggers and to Peter and Bernard Carty Undertakers for the kind and sensitive manner in which they carried out Jamie's funeral arrangements; and thank you to Derrygonnelly Community Centre for the use of their premises and the provision of refreshments following the funeral.
We will be forever indebted for the huge support we have received since the loss of our beloved Jamie and as it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation.
Jamie's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 5th November at 11.30am in St. Patrick's Church, Derrygonnelly
