We the family of the late Jane Tierney (Mc Gerr) would like to offer our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to extended family, friends and neighbours who sympathised and comforted us during our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank everyone who called to our family home, provided food and refreshments, sent mass and sympathy cards, telephoned and messaged through social media, your kind messages of condolences were greatly appreciated. A sincere thankyou to everyone who provided help and support during the wake in anyway at all.
A special thank you to everyone who attended the funeral, joined via parish web cam and stood out for the funeral cortege; we were overwhelmed by your love and support.
A sincere thank you to Fr. Paddy Hughes for the beautiful requiem mass and visits to mummy over the years. An extended and warm thankyou to Monsignor Curry, Fr. Moore and Fr. Donnelly for their prayers and support, it was very much appreciated. We continue to offer our thanks to those who enhanced the liturgy. To Andrea Begley and Plunkett McGartland for the lovely music and to Conor Mc Callion for the piping. We also thank those who prepared mummy’s final resting place and to Stephen Mallon for the beautiful flower arrangements.
A warm thank you to Kildress Wolf Tones for their support and use of their wonderful facilities after the funeral mass. To Seamus Mc Nally and to those who kindly served and prepared the beautiful food and refreshments, your help and service was greatly appreciated. To the staff and children of St. Mary’s P.S Dunamore, we offer a whole-hearted and warm thank you for your support and guard of honour for mummy.
To Mc Aleer Medical Hall and to Damian, please know that we the family are grateful for your guidance and care towards mummy throughout the years, but especially in the months leading up to her passing. We also extend our sincere thanks to Carrickmore Health Centre, to those who cared for mummy throughout the years and to the carers who attended to her daily needs with kindness.
Finally, a sincere thank you to Niall Loughran’s Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner they carried out the funeral arrangements and a special thanks to Joanna Loughran for her guidance, support and kind words during a very difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of appreciation.
Mummy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 22nd March at 7:30pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Killeenan and can be viewed via the parish web cam (MCN Media).
