The family of the late Jean McCann (late of Farmhill Meadows) wish to thank everyone (including many relatives and friends) for the kindness, prayers and sympathy shown to them after the passing of our much loved Mum, Grandma, Sister and Aunt. Thank you for all the Mass and sympathy cards sent and to those who travelled to be with us or joined us online.

Special thanks to Fr Declan McGeehan and Fr Stephen Ward for the comforting reception into church, Requiem Mass and burial; Fr Kevin McElhennon and Fr Eugene Hasson for their visits to Mum throughout her life.

We extend our great thanks to Jay and the team at Maguires Funeral Services for their care and attention, Floral Temptations for the beautiful flowers, all at The Village Inn for the funeral lunch; the gravediggers and sacristans, the readers and Eucharistic Ministers during Mum's funeral Mass and all who gave donations in lieu of flowers to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke.

We cannot express in words our gratitude to the staff at Springlawn Nursing Home where Mum enjoyed living (and made great friends) in the last eighteen months and was so excellently cared for throughout that time. To Drs Deehan and Rodgers and all at Strule Medical Practice, the community respiratory team, Slevins and Kelly's pharmacies for their many years of support, thank you.

To the community of Farmhill Road and Killyclogher who have been part of our lives and Mum's stalwart support network, we are indebted.

The kindness of so many has helped and given us strength through this difficult time.

Jean's Month's Mind will be held in St Mary's Church, Killyclogher on Sunday 13th Oct at 11am.

May she rest in peace.

Have you considered?
